The HEAL Project has an amazing paid internship opportunity for high school students!
We are looking for ten students aged 15-17 to participate in a fantastic new program on our San Mateo County School farm that will connect personal health, nutrition, and sustainable food systems to their everyday lives.
In the 10-week program, our TEEN (Teach Environmental Education Now) Leaders will:
- Plant, harvest, and cook seasonal farm fresh fruits and vegetables
- Develop their leadership skills by preparing and leading nutrition-based lessons for elementary aged students
- Become ambassadors for healthy living and home and in their communities
- Receive a weekly box of fresh fruits and vegetables and a $500 stipend upon completion

To apply, please complete the form below. We have five slots available for each 10-week session. The hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2-5pm, and students must provide their own transportation to and from the Farm and CCP sites. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
