Student Marketeers!
For graduates of the Intensive Garden Program, our Student Marketeer Program allows 3rd-12th grade students to continue learning about health, environment, and agriculture through lending a hand at The HEAL Project’s (THP’s) Farmers' Market booth.
Has your student ever wondered what happens to the produce they help grow in our gardens and farm? What doesn’t end up in their tasting bowls gets sold at our booth at the Coastside Farmers’ Market in Half Moon Bay.
Student Marketeers work alongside THP’s farm staff on Saturday mornings in the spring and fall, applying math, customer service, and marketing skills, and sharing their knowledge of fruits and veggies with the public.
Shifts are 10am - 12pm. There is a maximum of two Student Marketeers per shift, so kids can work with a friend! Students can take home an item from the market stall after completing their volunteering shift.

Para los graduados del Programa Intensivo de Jardinería, el Programa “Student Marketeers” permite a los estudiantes de 4.° a 12.° grado continuar aprendiendo sobre salud, medioambiente y agricultura al echar una mano en el puesto de Farmers' Market de The HEAL Project.
¿Se ha preguntado alguna vez su estudiante qué sucede con los productos que ayudan a cultivar en nuestros jardines y granjas? Lo que no termina en sus tazones de degustación se vende en nuestro stand en Coastside Farmers’ Market en Half Moon Bay.
Los “Student Marketeers” trabajan juntos con el personal agrícola de The HEAL Project los sábados por la mañana en la primavera y el otoño, aplicando habilidades matemáticas, servicio al cliente y de marketing, y compartiendo su conocimiento sobre frutas y verduras con el público.
Los turnos son de las 10am hasta las 11am y de las 11 am a 12 pm. Hay un máximo de dos “Student Marketeers” por turno, ¡así que los niños pueden trabajar con un amigo! Los estudiantes pueden llevarse a casa un artículo del puesto del mercado después de completar su turno de voluntariado.
